What customers say?

“ The food was really good, definitely recommend the Pho and the duck with noodles. The broth of the Pho tasted fresh and delicious! Meanwhile the duck was as described crispy. We also tried the Cafe Saigon, it was really good. The only thing with Cao is that the waitresses were not nice and a bit dismissive to selected customers. Still a good vietnamese restaurant to try anytime one passes by Trier. ”

“ The chicken pho was delicious! The broth was flavorful and the portions were very generous for the price. The service was also friendly despite showing up 30 minutes before closing. My husband and I will definitely be coming back! (: ”

“ Lovely little restaurant, nicely decorated with plants. Food was great, we had the fried noodles with duck and the pho with duck. Dog friendly and a nice atmosphere. We came for lunch on a Friday and they were mostly full. ”

“ While in Trier, we recently visited the restaurant and overall had a mixed experience. We waited a long time to be seated at first while there were many empty tables because the only staff was at the cash… that was a bit annoying. While waiting for our food, we received the water, but the Coca-Cola was forgotten, and we had to ask twice before it arrived. The spring rolls were a bit disappointing—they tasted a little too oily, and the summer rolls felt like something was missing. On the other hand, the Pho and the chicken curry were good, and the portion sizes were generous. Another downside is that the restaurant only provides menus in German. When I asked for another language, they told me to use Google Translate. This made it difficult for my mother, who’s not a big user of technology to understand the menu. Thankfully, one waiter was very nice and translated everything for us. Overall, the experience was good, but there are definitely some points that need improvement. It would be nice to have 2 english menus for tourists. ”

“ Pleasant experience, enjoyed the lots of fresh salad greens paired with the dishes. Tried 2 dishes I usually do not see in Vietnamese restaurants: Vietnamese pancakes and Vietnamese bao burger. They were good. Beef pho was good too, soup is of the lighter variety. Our favourite was the Mixed appetizer platter, especially the summer rolls and the fried Vietnamese rolls. I wanna try the crispy chicken dishes next time. Peace. ”

“ We enjoyed our dinner at this place! We liked the interior and the staff was very friendly. The food was nicely presented and the portions were decent! It was a bit bland, not quite the flavorous Vietnamese food as I had in Vietnam but it definitely brought back some memories. The only thing we didn't like was that since my wife was pregnant we had some dietary restrictions, but the staff was very unclear about the exact ingredients. ”
